My name is Sylvia Gurinsky. I'm a journalist. I'd like to reintroduce you to Sunshine Statements.
Sunshine Statements is my opinion blog on events in the news, ranging from international to things going on in South Florida. Sometimes my comments will be as short as a sentence, sometimes as long as a newspaper editorial. I promise that all will be thoroughly researched, as accurate as possible and following the standards of the Society of Professional Journalists' Code of Ethics. (Full disclosure: I'm an SPJ member.)
I encourage feedback, but comments that are offensive or factually inaccurate will be erased. So be polite.
